May is Military Appreciation Month, and we’re taking this opportunity to say “cheers” to the military community! To all Veterans and active-duty members, thank you for your service and sacrifice.
Throughout the year, Talking Rain is proud to support Veterans, active-duty members, and their families through our fundraising efforts, partnerships, and community programs. This includes our support of one of our new philanthropic partners, Homes For Our Troops.
Homes For Our Troops is a non-profit dedicated to building and donating specially adapted custom homes nationwide for severely injured post-9/11 Veterans, to enable them to rebuild their lives. These homes restore some of the freedom and independence our Veterans sacrificed while defending our country and enable them to focus on their family, recovery, and rebuilding their lives.
This year, the Talking Rain team will be supporting three adapted home builds throughout the U.S. Watch the clip below to hear the story of Marine Corporal Joshua Sust, who will be receiving a home build in Loveland, Ohio, in June 2021.
