Talking Rain Partners with Waterboys’ Hometown H2O Program

World Water Day is a global awareness day that recognizes the 2.2 billion people living without access to safe water. This includes 2 million people across the U.S. who lack access to running water and basic indoor plumbing.

As a beverage company, we’re committed to doing our part to build a better future. In October 2020, Talking Rain teamed up with the Waterboys initiative to address the global water crisis. Founded by former NFL player, Chris Long, the Waterboys initiative is focused on providing clean, accessible drinking water to communities in need. Through our partnership, Talking Rain has pledged to donate $0.20 for every Talking Rain Essentials Hydration 12-pack case purchased to support the initiative.

This year, Talking Rain is proud to partner with the Waterboys to support the Hometown H2O program. This program addresses the national water crisis by bringing clean and sustainable water access to people and communities in need—right here in the United States. Focused in rural and indigenous communities, Hometown H2O works in three areas: drilling home and community-based wells, installing water filling stations at schools, and securing water access on Navajo Nation through Home Water Systems and emergency water tanks. To support this program, Talking Rain will sponsor five well builds.
